Property Guardianship: An alternative to London's pricey housing?
Property guardianship is a living arrangement whereby tenants (licensees) occupy abandoned buildings that have been repurposed as cheap living spaces. However, they are not legally guaranteed the same rights as other tenants, which has been viewed as controversial by some housing experts as it allows for sub-par living conditions.
